Morning elephant ride climbing Amer fort! Admire magnificent interiors and wall paintings, as well as intricate ivory, mirror and glass work. Later visit City Palace, with its splendid collections. JAIPUR – AGRA
On the way to Agra visit one of the hidden jewels, pre-historic Hindu pilgrimage site, Galtaji Monkey temple famous for many tribes of monkeys that dwell in there. Savor the peaceful ambience of religious hymns and chants surrounded by gorgeous landscape of green vegetation. On arrival in Agra rest and learn about marble crafts. Evening visit Taj Mahal - symbol of eternal love.
AGRA – VARANASI (BY OVERNIGHT TRAIN)
Explore the interiors of impressive Agra Fort and visit a peaceful Akbar mausoleum in Sikandra. Later enjoy romantic evening dinner on a rooftop with the last view of Taj Mahal at sunset. Varanasi - Delhi
Early morning boat excursion on holy Ganges to see the bathing ghats and cremation sites. Watching people bathing and worshiping at the ghats is one of the most extraordinary experiences of a visit to India. After the boat ride, return to the hotel for breakfast. Later visit Benaras Hindu University and learn about silk weaving traditions. Afternoon flight to Delhi and have mouthwatering surprise dinner.
DELHI - COCHIN – MUNNAR
Morning flight to Cochin and drive through tea gardens and spice plantations to Munnar. Situated at the confluence of three mountain streams and perched about 1600 meters above sea level Munnar is the most popular hill station in South India. Taste various tea at Tea Museum and smell growing peppers, cardamom and cinnamon at Spice plantation. Evening enjoy one of the oldest theater forms in the world - Kathakali dance performance, followed by Kalaripayattu - indigenous Kerala martial art form. It is the oldest existing martial art, dating back to more than 2000 years and believed to be the ancestor of Chinese martial arts, which Buddhist monk took it to China.
MUNNAR – ALLEPPEY
Morning reach Alleppey and take a cruise in Kerala backwaters. Here, a rich patchwork of rice paddies and palm groves is interwoven with a web of alluring waterways. Like the gentle flow of water in the channels, life here goes at its own pace. It's the perfect place to relax and slow down. Your boat crew will buy vegetables and fresh fish from the locals, and will have it cooked for you on board. Savor fragrant South Indian lunch in open air. Overnight on houseboat.
ALLEPPEY – KOVALAM
